MMS Summer Workshop on Machine Learning

This is a bottom-up planned event and organizes by various members of the MMS. As the collaboration between the Weizmann Institute of Science and the German partners will only grow through in-person meetings, we plan to meet for the week of June 20-24, 2022 to look at the topic of machine-learning for the classification of light curves. Several topics that can be explored during that week will be presented in the beginning of the workshop and participants can also bring in own ideas. The data sets that will be available are listed on the side bar. Also check out the prerequisites for the workshop on the side bar and the info on the flashlight talks.

The event will be rounded up with a plenary talk, short introductions on various science topics, and a barbecue at the lake side.
