audit berufundfamilie: "Basis checks" - Information on methodology
Within the scope of the audit, tailor-made and needs-based approaches are developed to better support the compatibility of work and family for all employees. These are set out in a target agreement. To ensure that the optimization approaches developed during the audit are suitable for the organization and can be implemented, not only data and facts are collected at the beginning of the process, but discussions are also held on site, so-called "basis checks".
Procedure
To obtain a comprehensive picture of the current situation with regard to work-life balance, discussions are held with employees, managers and functional representatives from as many areas as possible.
The questions are in particular:
What solutions are found in "compatibility situations"?
What difficulties are there in realizing them?
What other solutions might be possible?
What support may still be required?
It is about all life situations around the topic "work & family" (employees with small infants, older children, in care situations or different family constellations).
There is no questionnaire but an open discussion. No detailed results are recorded and no personal data is collected, but conclusions are drawn from the conversations for the development of the target agreement.
