Arka:
- binning issues are solved
- normalization issues due to artificial focusing of the FastSim near the z-axis —> remove the theta_p from the phase-pace.
- Halina: consider ML? —> can replace the histograms in principle —> this is the right way to go in general and people are looking into it in other experiments but still it requires a lot of data in order to converge and it requires a lot of work --> for now we will not yet do that due to manpower issues and since we are focused on the proof of concept study.
FLUKA round table:
- Stewart:
- linkage can be done to remove the intermediate FLUKA step, but this may be very fragile
- will look at the linkage this week
- idea is to skip the ascii step of FLUKA and go directly to TH3
- Sasha:
- we have many many 3D histograms (per volume of the model essentially)
