Description

An epitaxial-grown self-assembled quantum-dot (QD) exhibits a progressive rotation of in-plane lattice driven by anisotropic elemental composition loading in different crystallographic directions from the base to the apex of the QD. This introduces nanoscale chirality within a single QD.
