Europe/Berlin

Description

Dear Doctoral Researchers,

we hope you've had a nice break from work and 2023 has started out well for all of you!

We are excited to announce that we are continuing our DOIT Job Seminars also this year, and the next seminar will already take place next week!
You're probably used to this by now: the seminar will be held virtually.

As a reminder, the invited speakers are physicists who are "looking outside the box" after their studies and now work (or have worked) in a different field.
As always, there will be plenty of time for questions.

This time our speaker is Prof. Dr. Tom Brown.
He will tell us about his tasks as professor of Digital Transformation in Energy Systems at the TU Berlin:

“From String Theory to Energy Systems”

When: ThursdayJanuary 19, 4:00 pm
Where: Zoom meeting room (connection details will be announced shortly before the seminar)

Unfortunately, there will be no food and drinks sponsored by the PIER Helmholtz Graduate School, as the seminar takes place online.

We hope to see many of you (virtually) there!
Best regards on behalf of DOIT,

Jan, Severin, Dawit, and Saiva
