Abstract:
“This talk will review classical mirror symmetry as a correspondence between enumerative geometry and variations of Hodge structure, the physico-mathematical ideas related to its generalization that connects to its homological incarnation, and some more recent results and observations which suggest that number theoretic considerations play an important role in the story.”
