Institutes represented by attendees: AIP, DESY, GAU, WWU
WWU deliverable 5.6: Login via DFN-AAI is possible, but without authorizations so far.
Question: Can PUNCH-user-group be requested somehow for managing authorizations? -> Needs dedicated consultation/hackaton
e.g. within WP2 together with experts who have experience with keycloak (DESY) for example).
Local user groups are currently managed via LDAP, a solution for PUNCH (group might be directly obtainable from PUNCH-AAI) remains to be checked.
Envisaging WP2 meeting in 3 weeks (9.2.) for a consultation. Michael prepares an overview of currently implemented authentication methods and tools.
GAU deliverable 5.4: PUNCH-Position filled since December.
Part of it is providing the possibility of analyzing ATLAS open data using resources by GAU (Compute4PUNCH and this WP).
This offer is meant to be available to anybody, not only people who can authenticate via AAI, e.g. due to a university affiliation.
Short term solution would be local accounts. A long term solution with central PUNCH accounts would be preferred.
How/If this can be realized needs to be discussed also in other parts of punch, e.g. TA4.
It is closely related to the question of AUPs and how user groups can be managed.
A use-case for this will be formulated.
