to be implemented as workflows

 

a) identify analysis which can be expressed as workflows
analysis has to be linear with start point and endpoint
must not repeat itself, has to be managed in steps
 

b) look at required resources
  how resources can be accessed
  and in which order
  (memory, data, machinery)
 

c) authorisation requirements

 

d) from where to fetch the data and where to store the data
 

e) can it run in C4P,
  do we have containers ? is already something written ?
  Can we use Jupyter NB, do we have container and can we run it there ?

 

f) use cases which have something creating histograms are prefered ones.
  pretty pictures are needed to show  at GP meeting

 

1.) Astronomy use cases exist, e.g. Nicola use case
   or "access astronomy public data and create a footprint of it" (Harry) TA4 WP2
   Radio astronomical use case: 

   AI: Nicola would put an entry as well as for Harry's use case
   SciTrace use case already exists
   Harry found documentation, similar to Strong lenses, but this is empty
   new entry would be better
   (likedoing research with public data using VO protocols)
   Nicola does not consider SDP in his use case, but rather goes from
   laptop directly to C4P
