Quantum technologies and quantum computing based on ultracold atoms

The talk will give an overview on quantum technologies based on ultracold quantum gases at University Hamburg. Atoms in optical lattices are used to simulate complex many body systems, e.g. systems with non-trivial topology. The talk will also briefly discuss recent developments to build a quantum computer with ultracold Yb-atoms.
