Long form:

As the winter slowly comes to an end, let's use the long nights one time to have some virtual fun together. For this reason, we are planning to organize a small gaming night on the 24th of this month here at DESY where we want to play some video games together.

Starting after work at around 7 PM we want to meet up in room 25b/109 which has a lot of space and two beamers, allowing both console gaming on big screens for some good old Mario Kart or Super Smash Bros. and a LAN party for games like Counter Strike, Age of Empires, Flatout or Unreal Tournament. For this, you are of course welcome to bring your own hardware (Laptop, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, ...) and we try to organize the network infrastructure. We’re not sponsored by PHGS, so please bring some snacks and drinks for yourself as well, later in the evening (at own cost) we can also order some pizza together.
