Tours of European XFEL 2h
Tours at European XFEL
• Duration: Approximately 90-120 minutes including a 30-minute presentation and tour of the experiment hall
• Minimum age: For safety reasons visitors must be at least 14 years old
• Group size: Groups of over 20 people will be split into smaller tour groups on site
• Meeting point: At the reception of the main building on our campus at Holzkoppel 4, 22869 Schenefeld. How to get there: https://www.xfel.eu/contacts/index_eng.html
• Clothing and bags: Please wear closed, flat shoes for your visit to the experiment hall. Large bags and backpacks cannot be taken into the experiment hall, but can be stored safely on site
• Food, drinks and souvenirs are available at our company restaurant BeamStop https://www.xfel.eu/beamstop/index_eng.html. If your group wishes to eat lunch at BeamStop, please contact Mr Björn Eggers at b.eggers@klueh.de before your visit
