We are  thrilled to inform you that we will be organizing a Vacuum Technique Workshop, featuring a group of knowledgeable Product Managers and Technical Directors from Kurt J. Lesker Company (KJLC).

 

KJLC is a prominent global player in the field of vacuum technology product design and manufacturing. The company has been delivering premium vacuum solutions to various industries, including research and development, manufacturing, and academia, since 1954. The KJLC product line comprises vacuum chambers, deposition systems, instrumentation, and vacuum components, such as feedthroughs, viewports, and valves.

 

The workshop will cover several topics related to vacuum technology, such as Feedthroughs, Vacuum Viewports, Vacuum gauge technology overview, Residual Gas Analysis (RGA) and He-leak detection, and Vacuum Science and System Design. The sessions will be conducted by seasoned industry experts, including Mr. Matt Jaszcar, Mr. Evan Sawyer, and Mr. JR Gaines, Technical Director of Education.

 

The detailed schedule of the workshop is as follows:

•  Vacuum gauge technology overview.  60 minutes.

•  Residual Gas Analysis (RGA) and He-leak detection. 90 minutes.

•  Feedthroughs Overview: power, thermocouple, coaxial, multi-pin feedthroughs. 60 minutes.

• Vacuum viewports overview. 60 minutes.

•  Vacuum pumps overview: pumps for rough vacuum, high vacuum and ultra-high vacuum applications. 90 minutes

•  Introduction to Vacuum Science and System Design. 3 hours.

     Thursday 11.05.2023.  14:00 Hamburg/CET (8 am Pittsburgh) Manager. 

 

The workshop will be conducted virtually to enable easy access and flexibility for attendees. Due to the location of the lecturers in Pennsylvania, which is six hours behind us, the workshop will take place in the afternoon, between 2 pm and 6 pm.
