The scope of the workshop is to investigate challenges and recent trends in the design, construction and operation of resistive magnets for ultra low emittance rings.

Topics of interests are

magnet design
solutions for Dipoles, DQ, Quads, Sexts, Octupoles, Correctors, Multi-function magnets
tolerances (magnetic and mechanical)
materials (highly saturated magnets)
cross talk
coils design
power consumption (cooling, DT, ...)
how to reduce power consumption

experience with milling vs wire erosion
materials (steel, high permeability)
tolerance achieved
procurement (production time, availability, risks)
measurements and operation
fiducialisation and alignment
