Helper Sign-Up for EPS 2023
Sign-up page for conference helpers at the EPS-HEP2023 conference (Hamburg, 21st - 25th August).
Please sign up for all the days you are available to help. Note that this does not mean that you will be assigned duties on all days - shifts will be distributed evenly across registrants, assigning 4 to each, ensuring the necessary number of helpers are available for each slot. Helper shift participation equivalent to two full days (i.e. a total of 4 AM/PM shifts) is required in order to qualify for waiving of the conference participation fee.
The tasks will include:
- Session helper for parallel and plenary sessions
- Registration help
- General help
- Help during poster session setup
- Guides to direct people from Dammtor to the University, and to the correct rooms for sessions
- Cloakroom
- Helping with art exhibit, public lecture, and concert
We will plan to provide a helper "training" session a few weeks before the start of the conference. Details will be sent to registered helpers once the date is finalized.
For now, participation is restricted to PhD students, postdocs, or more senior group members.
Please only register for conference AFTER acceptance as a helper on the sign up.
