Abstract:
The School of Physics with Arduino and Smartphone is an engaging hands-on activity in which participants learn how to use Arduino and smartphones for physics experiments, by doing them. After a short session about the Arduino programming language and the sensors used in smartphones, participants are divided into teams, and asked to design, build and conduct an experiment from scratch using at least one of the techniques shown in the tutorial session. The experiments can be done using a number of components provided to them and readily available material, and aims at the study of physical phenomena.
