The DMA ST1 synergy workshop takes place at DESY campus in seminar room BAH1 of building 3 and in the Flash seminar room (building 28c).

DMA-ST1 addresses the digitalisation of large-scale infrastructures at all levels. This includes especially the technological synergies between data lifecycle management, the setup and operation of distributed systems as well as the principles of FAIR data management and Open Science, but also the synergies between the various facilities and communities within Matter.
The idea of this workshop is to help defining and strengthening synergies in data lifecycle management among the participating facilities and communities.
A further goal is to prepare a blueprint of the discussed setup and a workplan towards a pilot system.
DMA ST1 tries to realise a sustainable implementation of this infrastructure while supporting development efforts in corresponding partner projects.
During this workshop intensive discussion with the communities is foreseen. Therefore we invite participants from the scientific communities to present example uses cases which require the DMA ST1 infrastructure. Especially contributions by scientists in their early career stage are welcome
As accommodation we suggest the DESY Guest House, which is located directly on campus. A contingent of rooms has been reserved. If you want to use the contingent please refer to the event name "DMA ST1". The contingent starts to decay starting 4 weeks before the event.
