This tour is reserved for students working on particle physics or accelerator projects (B projects).
A footwalk tour is organised from the DESY main gate (starting at 3.40 pm) to the HERA Hall south where we will be met at 4pm by our Tour Guide Uwe Schneekloth who will guide us through the Hall where one can see some components of the BabyIaxo Experiment. After this we will walk through one quadrant of the HERA tunnel (seeing amazing equipment of that accelerator!) until Hall East, where we exit and then will walk back to DESY through the Volkspark.
Please wear appropriate footwear.
The tour is limited to 19 participants. Please register by thursday 24 August. If there are free places left by the end of thursday then also students working on A projects can register from August 25 on and take them.
