Description
Flavour-changing decays of charmed hadrons give information on CKM matrix elements and unitarity triangles, and could play a role in the detection of new physics, complementing the B-physics and kaon physics results. I will quickly review the current situation of semi-leptonic decays of the D and related hadrons, both on the lattice and compared to experiments. We will then proceed to the presentation of my strategy to compute their form factors on the lattice, with twisted mass fermions on the valence, built over the Wilson action of the CLS configurations. Finally, I will show some preliminary results for D->pi and D->K and discuss the potential of this approach to be competitive with other lattice formulations and to play a role in phenomenology.
