Quantum Field Theories in 5d can be realized on the worldvolume of webs of 5-branes suspended on 7-branes in IIB String Theory. For webs whose external legs are a single 5-brane, the web can be regarded as the toric spine of the Calabi-Yau which geometrically engineers the 5d theory in M-theory. This latter set-up allows to construct the BPS quiver for the (compactified) 5d theory which, very recently, has been noted to be in direct correspondence with the braneweb. This can be naturally extended to the generic case of webs with multiple 5-branes for each external leg, whose geometric description is not known. In this talk we will review and describe recent progress in this correspondence between branewebs and quivers.
