In the beginning of this mini course, participants can work on a webcast with exercises in their own time. Afterwards an online session will take place in small groups of 8 where the contents will be discussed in greater detail. 

Webcast (will be provided in early January): 

Duration: 3.25 h English
The aim of the webcast is to inform participants in detail about all phases of the appointment process and to provide them with concrete assistance and tips for their applications. The webcast first deals with the procedure and the formal aspects of the appointment process. Subsequently, all necessary application documents (especially CV, cover letter, concepts) are discussed in detail and illustrated in part with sample materials. Expectations and requirements of the hearing before the appointment committee and important and important preparatory steps will be discussed. The participants receive hints and short demonstrations on the design of the scientific lecture and the teaching sample. In addition, the most common questions & topics in the commission interview will be will be presented. Participants will receive a Vimeo link (plus password) to stream the video on-demand streaming. The video will be available for three weeks.
