Description
DESY's VUV Free Electron Laser (FEL), FLASH, is currently undergoing a major upgrade to become the world's first externally seeded FEL operating at high repetition rates. The external seed laser is a crucial component of this extensive facility project, which is presently under construction. The proposed SLM characterization project forms a part of the ongoing development of the seed laser and may become a key feature in the final system.
