Unfolding Meeting 4.5.2011
connected: Tim Adye, Natalie Milke, Pedro Cipriano, Gero Flucke (Nikolai Gagunashvili had technical problems)
Just a breif round of activities:
-
Tim reported
-
finished the PHYSTAT proceedings about RooUnfold
-
got user requests to deal with correlated mesaurements
-
thinking to about dealing with uncertainties in the transfer matrix
-
interfacing most recent (beta) versions of TUnfold (S. Schmidt - now with pseudo-inverse of the covariance) and TUnfoldSVD (K. Tackmann) that are newer than what is provided by recent (stable) ROOT
-
Natalie worked on bias tests
-
Gero did not do anything besides proof reading of PHYSTAT proceedings and discussing with Pedro
-
Pedro is working on getting further used to TUnfold, studies like the proposed blind tests shoulkd be presentable at the next meeting.
It is a pity that thr eis not much progress, but that is what we need to live with - the algorithm comparison is a useful study. Gero will setup a doodle again for beginning of June.
