Abstract:
The rich and varied data at GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung necessitates a multi-faceted approach to Research Data Management at the facility. This talk will discuss conceptualisation and current status of RDM practices at GSI, with a view towards such practices for the upcoming Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research (FAIR). Discussion will be given on existing, and developing tools and solutions to enable F.A.I.R. data, with examples from metadata for experiments and ongoing open science projects.
