Inspired by the DMA ESCAPE collaboration, we discussed the possibility to imagine an PUNCH ESCAPE collaboration based on the on_boarding of BAT --> Should be discussed in next Board meeting
The on boarding of a software can be a long process depending on the maturation level of the software. In addition to the on boarding team reviewers must be found, the best is to build a team of expert and to do the on-boarding together with the help of experienced ESCAPE members
ESCAPE being a open collaboration we can join their monthly meetings, next meeting Friday 29-02-2024. The best is to have a small group on punch member that attend to the meeting and helping with the on-boarding. ( Makarim can join the 2 first meeting )
We suggest within TA6.4 to create a meta data scheme in order to be validated by ESCAPE and push if possible some software to be go through the on-boarding process.
We suggest within TA6.3 to include ESCAPE recommendation in terms of FAIRness, and meta data
Introduce Codemeta to TAs working with meta data and suggest is in recommendation as a minimal meta data necessary to on-board the software on the OSSR.
