Alessia is a physicist from Italy who has always been fascinated by how things work. Back in 2022, she finished up her Ph.D. in physics at DESY, where she spent her time digging into silicon detectors to reveal particles. Her research was focused on the upgrade of the tracker for the ATLAS experiment at CERN.
Now, she is part of Littelfuse, an international company that produces silicon chips for all sorts of power devices. As a R&D Engineer, her job is to figure out how these chips behave and then design them to match what the customers want.
She loves getting her hands dirty with new tech and solving puzzles, so she is pumped to keep pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the world of physics and engineering.
