Description

In this talk, we discuss non-extremal black holes in relation to the Swampland program. We show that certain temperature - and entropy - limits correspond in fact to infinite distances. In the context of N=2 supergravity, when the black hole geometry is coupled to scalar fields, we can identify the relevant tower of states, which become massless in such limits. Finally, we point out the existence of
thermodynamics dualities between small and large black holes, which can be interpreted as the remnants of UV string dualities.
