X-ray FEL-induced Coulomb explosion can capture snapshots of complex molecules including all hydrogens in a reaction microscope/COLTRIMS. It can also reveal tiny, correlated structure fluctuations in the ground state, and disentangle light-induced dynamics by selecting specific classes of fragmentation channels, even when multiple reaction pathways are present.
Coffee, tea and cake will be served at 1:45 pm.
