Description
dCache is a storage system for scientific
institutions that manages large amounts
of data in a distributed system. Although
the dCache code base already has self-
regulating mechanisms, there are still
situations in daily operation, in which
the storage system is overloaded. The
challenge of the project is to
identify indicators, which can be used to
reliably identify the times and causes of
overload. The focus here is on the
identification and manipulation of
relevant system parameters.
