Tour: We will do a special two hours harbour round trip with a 'Barkasse' ship, where you will learn about the Hamburg harbour history, working place and globalisation and will see many interesting parts of the harbour and ships. There is a fixed price for renting the boat and for the tour guide. Thanks to the financial support from the VFFD we can offer the tour for a fee of about 7 Euro per participant, the exact price depends on the number of participants.
Transport:
The starting point of the tour in the harbour can be found here and also at this webpage from the boat company. Please be there on time (6pm).. Here is a link with possible public transport options. We strongly recommend to use this option starting at 4:52pm with footwalks + S1 S-Bahn from Othmarschen to Stadthausbruecke.. Please take note that at this time transport with the HVV buses can be quite unreliable due to rush hour traffic jams (also the capacity of the buses is limited).
