The MIN-Faculty at Universität Hamburg welcomes all new (and anybody that still feels new) postdoctoral fellows in Hamburg, to the supportive environment at the MIN faculty and at PIER Education Platform (PEP). We will make you familiar with structures at the MIN faculty and have two mini Workshops to choose between!
5:00 - 5:30 PM: Introduction to the support structure provided by the MIN Faculty and UHH
5:30 - 6:30 PM: Choose between -
Mini Workshop 1: How to optimise your portfolio for successful negotiations for the future (with MIN Vice Dean for Studies, Teaching and Career Development, Head of Professorial Appointments Office at MIN faculty, successful negotiator and holder of permanent position)
Mini Workshop 2: Tips and tricks for third party funding plus meet successful applicants in a round table (with the central research department, research advisor at MIN faculty and two successful grant winners)
6:30 - 8 PM: Snacks and socializing!
