- ICS laser simulation starting from the PICA code —> next meeting.
- GEANT4: some work on E320, checking 2 different physics lists giving ~20% differences in neutron fluxes. Could bring the FLUKA results to be identical to G4 (will try to check with ~20% of a BX)
- FastSim: Alon graduates and will work on summarizing the study —> can be maybe next meeting (or next to next).
- Data management: Ivo produced FLASH, E320, data and it is stored in the NAF simulation —> should be moved to testbeam data.
- ECAL: standalone sim for NPOD
- Tracker: finished SALC installation campaign. Will update soon in one of the LUXE meetings. ACTS work continues at both the low-level core and the high-level implementation of the geometry, seeding and tracking.
- Cherenkov: preparing to E320 data. Replacing the medium with glass inside of the straws.
- Spectrometer: updating the reconstruction algorithm, Kyle working on the thesis (end of Oct.)
- Profiler: publishing paper on the R&D of the sapphire detector. Produced transition boards to mitigate the problems seen in sig reconstruction.
- NPOD: Shan using DDSIM (part of DD4HEP) and testing clustering algorithms (a la CEPC) —> will try next meeting.
- Backscattering calo: new student working on the simulation and looking at the differences between electrons and photons. Thinking about upgrading the detector in the next month. Thinking about scintillation tiles.
