Description

I will discuss a geometric set-up, interpolating between M and F-theory, which gives access to a large number of four-dimensional N=2 superconformal field theories (SCFT) and generalizes the standard S-fold construction. The vast arsenal of available techniques allows to determine the main features of such strongly-coupled systems, among which I will mostly focus on global  symmetries and spectra of Coulomb-branch (CB) operators. I will conclude by conjecturing the existence of a new rank-2 SCFT with CB scaling dimensions (5/3,4), naturally predicted by this framework.
