Description

A ’t Hooft loop is a typical disorder operator that exists in any gauge theory.

In the N=4 SYM, ’t Hooft loops feature an interesting interplay between localization,integrability and holography.
And surprisingly much can be extracted from conventional perturbation theory, including some fully non-perturbative data.
