According to DESY rules, travelers would need to book their travel and accommodation for their visit and then receive a refund after the visit ( based on submission of receipts and report).

We are exploring the opportunity of having the DESY travel department helping travelers with the bookings of the flights ( in case the travel plan includes this mode).
