PUNCH4NFDI achievement: make workflows manageable on federated infrastructure with REANA

Harry Enke, Elena Sacchi (AIP)

Abstract:

One of the major tasks PUNCH4NFDI set out to achieve: make typical workflows from its different communities runnable, in spite of very different demands on resources and structure of their analysis procedures. By taking REANA out of CERN environment, running it on a Kubernetes cluster at AIP and connecting both to CoBALD/TARDIS (C4P), and also using various storage standards (dCACHE, S3, ....) we've achieved more than only the barebones of a working environment. The user management is run through the PUNCH AAI.
