Training event focused on Intellectual Property as well as the Use and Exploitation of Research Software organized by the DESY Technology Transfer Office (TTO) group.

Dr. Stephanie Maier will present the fundamentals of
  • intellectual property (IP),
  • intellectual property rights (IPR),
  • IP protection and
  • patent protection

 

Dr. Janine Fischer will provide you with the basics of
  • Legal challenges in research software use and development,
  • Distributing software to others (open source and commercial) and
  • Exploitation of research software and product development.

is a member of DESY’s Innovation and Technology Transfer Department (ITT) specializing in inventions and patents.

 

   Dr. Janine Fischer

is responsible for IP management and licensing at DESY and project leader for the “DESY Software Innovation Hub”.
