„Parallele Universen“ – Fluro-Art von Felix Stöver im Lighthouse Erlebniszentrum

Die Bilder des früh verstorbenen, norddeutschen Künstlers spielen mit Licht, um Atmosphäre, Räumlichkeit oder Emotionen zu erzeugen. Stövers fluoreszierenden und phosphoreszierenden Kunstwerke bilden eine Brücke zwischen dem Sichtbaren und dem Unsichtbaren, dem Irdischen und dem Geistigen.

In der Psytrance- und Goa-Szene machte sich Stöver rasch einen Namen. Seine Bilder wurden zu einem integralen Bestandteil von Festivals auf der ganzen Welt. Seine Kunst wurde nicht nur als bloße Dekoration betrachtet, sondern als integraler Bestandteil des kollektiven Erlebnisses mit ihren hypnotischen Beats und intensiven Farben. Er arbeitete eng mit Musikern und Veranstaltern zusammen und entwarf zahlreiche Albumcover.

Lange kauerten Stövers Bilder verborgen im Dunkeln auf dem elterlichen Dachboden, bis sie vor wenigen Monaten im Hamburger Kunst- und Kreativzentrum JUPITER erstmals wieder das Licht der Welt erblickten.

Felix Stöver war Physiker an der Universität Hamburg und hat 2007 beim Deutschen Elektronen Sychrotron (DESY) seine Diplomarbeit gemacht.

Vom 27. März bis 28. Juni 2025 können sie nun im Wissenschafts-Erlebniszentrum Lighthouse von European XFEL in Schenefeld bei Hamburg bewundert werden.

"Parallele Universen" - Fluro-Art by Felix Stöver at the Lighthouse Visitor Centre

The paintings of the North German artist, who died young, play with light to create atmosphere, space or emotions. Stöver's fluorescent and phosphorescent artworks form a bridge between the visible and the invisible, the earthly and the spiritual.

Stöver quickly made a name for himself in the psytrance and goa scene. His paintings became an integral part of festivals all over the world. His art was not seen as mere decoration, but as an integral part of the collective experience with its hypnotic beats and intense colours. He worked closely with musicians and event organisers and designed numerous album covers.

For a long time, Stöver's pictures hid in the dark in his parents' attic until they saw the light of day again for the first time a few months ago at Hamburg’s art and creative centre JUPITER.

Felix Stöver was a physicist at the University of Hamburg and completed his diploma thesis at the Deutsches Elektronen Sychrotron (DESY) in 2007.

From 27 March to 28 June 2025, they will be on display at the European XFEL Visitor Centre Lighthouse in Schenefeld near Hamburg (free admission).
