1) News:
-- No more WP related meetings, only "TA6" meetings every 2 weeks. If group specific points should be discussed, let the TA6 leads know.
-- Stefan is going to step down as TA6 lead. Replacement to be found.
2) PUNCH GM, April 23 (virtual, maybe hybrid?)
-- Contribution to provide an overview of TA activities. Volunteers?
-- Potential contribution: Current status of AAI
3) PUNCH contribution to DPG and BASE4NFDI Consortia Integration workshop
-- PUNCH should be more active in "advertisements" (eg at DPG mtg). Kilian will be at the booth in Göttingen.
-- Sebastian will be there, but part of the DPG mtg organizing committee. Could be part of an overview talk also be "shown" at the booth? To be discussed
-- The B4N CI ws will be on March 5, 10-12h, virtually... not clear yet what it will be about.
-- A B4N roadshow is also coming up, and Kilian wants to pitch the MultiCloud activities.
4) PUNCH 2.0:
-- At a meeting in Kassel, the discussion suggested to move from "separate pillars" to a "data life cycle", as PUNCH still lacks the connection to the broader community and shout turn more user centric (comment from the mid-term presentation). The pillars remain a "convenient way" to collect ideas and text for the proposal. The proper presentation of the "data life cycle" also still under debate, and a lot needs to be done.
-- Discussion will continue in Hamburg on March 4
-- Metadata needs will increase, and will become an important topic in PUNCH 2.0; similar "guidelines to publish software"... all aspects which are part of TA6, now.
-- Consider how TA6 activities can be turned into PUNCH 2.0, where "NFDI & the world" is an important aspect!
5) Status of Deliverables:
-- WP1: D2/3 finished (and published, tbc); D4/5 continues to the end; D1 (Noticeboard) to be set up at DESY, then the report to be written
-- WP2: D1 (i) done, but no report yet. (ii) development requests send to UNITY, and other works already included, requirements document to be done, (iii) due later; D2 mostly done, but report also pending; D3 work ongoing, report to be written
-- due to time, this will be continued next time, including status of deliverable reports
