Condensed Matter Physics and Chemistry (CMPC) is a research association formed by scientists, engineers and technical staff from various PETRA III beamlines using scattering and diffraction techniques (P03, P07-DESY&P21.1, P08, P62), the chemistry labs and the sample environment groups.

The annual CMPC workshop in 2025 will be held on the DESY campus from June 5th to June 6th, 2025. This workshop brings together different communities working on manifold aspects of energy research from basic material research to device development and applying X-ray scattering and diffraction techniques in their work. There will be four sessions (see the schedule), each featuring talks from invited speakers and allowing for plenty of time for extensive discussion during the presentations and the poster session. We encourage all participants to submit a poster and to reach out if you have any questions.

We kindly ask the participants to book your own accommodation. The information about the DESY guest house and hotels nearby can be be found on this website.

A limited number of rooms are still available at the DESY Guest House on a first-come, first-served basis.
We kindly encourage you to make your reservation as soon as possible to ensure availability!!!
