Dear Scientists, Dear EURIZON fellows,
As our EURIZON project comes to a close, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to you and your teams. Some of you have already finished your research projects, while some others will end soon. Your dedication, resilience, and commitment to excellence have been truly inspiring. Despite the immense challenges you and your teams have faced, you have continued to deliver outstanding scientific work, and we are honoured to have played even a small role in supporting you. Thank you for involving many young scientists in your work and thank you for your wonderful results.
Now, as this project reaches its conclusion, we feel a strong responsibility to advocate for similar initiatives in the future. We want to communicate to the European Commission and other key stakeholders the urgent need for support—not just for Ukrainian research institutions as a whole, but also for individual researchers.
To strengthen this advocacy, we are preparing a survey to gather your feedback on the program and to collect your opinion on how to help revert brain drain ( once the full scale invasion will be over).
Your insights will be invaluable in developing our final recommendations and making the case for dedicated further funding for scientists in Ukraine. We want to hear your voices, your opinions and we want to integrate your feedback in the closing recommendations of the EURIZON project.
