Description

Just like physical string theory, topological string theory was initially defined perturbatively as a worldsheet theory. In this talk, after reviewing all necessary concepts, we discuss recent progress towards applying Borel analysis to the asymptotic expansion of the topological string amplitude, and what non-perturbative information can be extracted by studying the singularities in its Borel plane.
