Description

Conformal defects in conformal field theories break a part of the bulk conformal symmetry. In many cases they also break a part of the bulk global symmetry. This leads to the existence of protected displacement and tilt operators on the defect. In this talk, I will discuss how the action of the broken symmetry transformations leads to a large class of integral identities for the correlation functions of the displacement and the tilt operators. Among those, I will especially highlight the identities for tilt operators that detect an integer-valued anomaly under the broken global symmetry transformations.
