Start-up Labs

Dear everyone,

the POSHH Chapter invites you to visit Cycle at Start-up Labs on DESY campus, where you will have the opportunity to get a glimpse into their labs. Amongst other things, you will learn how ultra-short pulsed lasers can be used to build devices for precise timing and syncronization applications used in industry and science.

The lab tour will take place on Thursday, June 12 starting at 5:00 p.m. in front of the Start-up Labs building.

After the official lab tour, you are invited to stay around and chat with the team of Cycle over some drinks and snacks. This will give you enough time to ask further questions about their technology but also find out more about career opportunities in industry.

The number of participants is limited, so please register here/on the indico page of the event. The available slots will be distributed on a first come first served basis. If all slots are taken already, you will be put on a waiting list and notified in case a spot opens up.
