International Day of LGBTQIA+ People in STEM 🌈 - Movie Evening at Beamstop!

Dear colleagues,

 

On the occasion of the International Day of LGBTQIA+ People in STEM (https://prideinstem.org/lgbtstemday/), we would like to invite you to a friendly and relaxed movie evening to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and the power of human stories.

🕔 Time: 17:00
📍 Place: Beamstop

 

 

We will watch one of the following films (final choice will depend on the licencing fees):

 

🎬 Moonlight (2016)
    - An unforgettable coming-of-age drama that follows the emotional journey of a young man struggling with his identity and sexuality while growing up in Miami.

🎬 Pride (2014)
    - A heartwarming and inspiring true story of unlikely solidarity between LGBTQI+ activists and striking coal miners in 1980s Wales.

 

 

🍿 Catering:

We will provide drinks and snacks.

We would also love to have fresh popcorn at the event! If anyone has a popcorn machine and would be willing to bring it, please let us know. That would be amazing!

Feel free to bring your own drinks or snacks if you wish!

 

To guarantee we have enough food and drinks for everyone, we kindly ask you to register yourself (and any family or friends joining).

 

 

This will be a great opportunity not only to enjoy a good film together but also to create a space for openness, connection, and reflection.
