Conceptual Advances in Deep Learning for Research on Universe and Matter

The Workshop "Conceptual Advances in Deep Learning" is organized by the BMFTR-funded ErUM-Data-Hub with support from the community organization DIG-UM. The workshop is aimed at deep-learning enthusiasts  from all ErUM communities (Research on Universe and Matter) who have prior knowledge of neural networks and applied basic concepts of deep learning.

The idea of this workshop is to exchange ideas on deep learning developments and current applications in ErUM (Research on Universe and Matter). We cordially invite you to submit a 20-minute talk (15 + 5). Please use the Call for Abstracts for this purpose. 

The workshop includes keynotes and lectures on current developments in deep learning, as well as hands-on time to try out and apply what you have learned.

A fee of 100€ will be charged for participation in the workshop. The workshop fee includes the cost of the workshop, catering (coffee, lunch & dinner), a city tour and a workshop dinner.
