Marin's presentation on updated ELBEX lattice design:

  • First matched lattice for dogleg double bend beamline from extraction point to LUXE IP incl. final 
  • EuXFEL bunch with 2e6 tracked through lattice

 

Discussion:

  • FODOs in XTD8 - will there be a clash with user installations?
  • probably will not need a dedicated focus section for the Testbeam area
  • beta of 300m seems a bit over-focussed - possibilities to optimize the area
  • beam spot is a bit large (20x30micron), investigating cause (CSR, input bunch length?)
  • provide the list of magnets ("Winni list" to Benno for CAD, Marcel for discussions with MPC on power supply hutch space requirements)
