Description
Classical genomic deal with DNA information coming from a pure strain. By using Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), DNA sample of mixed strains can be processed in a global manner. Hence, it is name metagenomic and try to capture the microbiome diversity from rich ecosystem. NGS are feeding Big data issues and thus processing data is challenging. By using an innovating filesystem like dCache, the storage and the data access can be eased to the MetaQuant benefit.
