Measurements with electroweak bosons in the forward region at the LHC

Description
Recent results from the LHCb experiment are presented that test QCD and the electroweak theory. Inclusive and differential cross-sections as well as cross-section ratios and asymmetries, for W and Z boson production are measured and compared to next-to-next-to-leading order QCD predictions using the most recent parton distribution functions. In addition, differential cross-sections for low mass Drell-Yan production are presented in the di-muon mass range 5 < Mµµ < 120 GeV/c2. Finally, a measurement on the production of jets of particles in association with a Z boson is presented.
