Description
Our aim is to trigger a common discussion about the recent observed PeV events by the ICECUBE neutrino telescope. We will briefly discuss the possible role of galactic sources, diffuse galactic emission and cosmogenic production, with a common final conclusion that none of the above mechanisms can explain such a signal. Alternative explanation are more than welcome!
