Description
After the crucial discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012, the LHC is preparing to expand an exciting physics program to precisely measure it properties and to continue the quest for new particles. This will require a series of accelerator upgrades to steadily increase the beam luminosity, as well as major improvements of the ATLAS and CMS experiments to reconstruct the many interactions that will be engendered by beam collisions. This seminar will provide a panorama of this challenging upgrade program through the next two decades.
